Rules:

Entry:

• Contest open to children ages 12 and under; void where prohibited.
• One (1) entry per person, please.
• To enter, color your entry in however you like, and return your entry to McCook Daily Gazette for judging.
• Entries can be dropped off at the McCook Daily Gazette
  or sent (via U.S. Mail) to:

  McCook, NE 69001
• - Be sure to include child's name, age and phone number so that the winner may be notified – this information will be removed prior to display for privacy issues.

Judging:

• Entries will be judged on the basis of creativity.
• Prizes will be awarded in 3 age categories: ages 4 and under, ages 5-8, and ages 9-12.

Winners:

• Winners will be notified via telephone and prizes will be presented during the McCook Balloon Fest
• Each winner will win the following prizes for winning contest entries:
  - Age Group 9-12 – Hot Air Balloon Collage Poster
  - Age Group 5-8 – Hot Air Balloon Puzzle
  - Age Group under 4 – Curious George and the Hot Air Balloon Book by Margret & H.A. Rey
  - Their winning entry posted www.mccookballoonfest.com site
• All entries will be displayed at Schmick’s Market prior to the event and at the Red Willow County 4-H Building during the weekend of the event
