Announcing the Winners of the 2006 Photo Contest!
McCook Balloon Fest 2006 was a great success! Three beautiful days allowed for great balloon launches, and photographic opportunities were optimum for the 2006 Photo Contest.
The contest was open to three different age divisions. Juniors aged 15 & under, adults 16-59 and seniors 60 and over were all invited to enter their photos from the 2006 event. Entries submissions were accepted through November 30th, 2006, and all judging was final by December 16th. Entries were eligible for a Grand Prize Hot Air Balloon ride at next year's event, and all other winning entries will be given recognition to their photos posted on the mccookballoonfest.com web site.
McCookBalloonFest.com received a lot of great pictures of the 2006 event, and the votes are finally in, and the winners are:
15 & Under Junior Division:
